Casino Night 2021

For the safety of our Matheny community, this year’s Adult Services Casino Night has been postponed. Unfortunately, the recent rise in COVID cases prompted us to make this difficult decision. If it is safe to do so, Casino Night will take place on Friday, December 3, 2021 in the same location – the Robert Schonhorn Arts Center, Peapack.

All registrations and sponsorships will be honored at the December event. If you have any questions or concerns about your donation or registration, please contact the development office at development@matheny.org or call ext. (908) 234-0011, ext. 1273 or 1260 to speak to someone.

Adult Services Program Description

The Adult Services program is comprised of two adult learning centers – one in Hillsborough and the other on Matheny’s main campus in Peapack. The programs are designed to assist our patients in attaining their highest level of independent functioning while maximizing engagement and satisfaction. This is accomplished by a wide range of disciplines offering a variety of classes, programs, and community trips. The adult patients are committed to giving back to their community by hosting disability awareness days, guest speaking at elementary schools, creating cards for kids in need, and fundraising for local charities. Our largest program, the Brave Bags program, provides police departments with bags that are handmade by our patients. Brave Bags are filled with items that can soothe a child during a crisis situation.
