Support a Participant
Join us for an inspirational day filled with fun, friendship, and community spirit as we celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Miles for Matheny!
Miles for Matheny was founded by the late Lu Huggins, a Matheny Trustee whose vision was to have a communal event that raises awareness of people living with disabilities. Miles has grown from a small wheelchair walk and cycling ride to an event that attracts more than 1,500 participants, volunteers, and spectators.
When you sign up, you can participate in a 1-mile power walk, bike one of our 5 cycling routes, root for your child in the Kids’ Fun Run, or stroll with our patients and students in the Wheelchair Walk. Your family will also enjoy music, entertainment, and refreshments, while showing your support for people with disabilities.
We look forward to seeing you there!
